Growing up I had to finish school after grade 10 in order to help out at home. I experienced many interesting jobs starting with driving a pop truck. I also worked for Modern City Dairy delivering milk. Worked for NSLC then becoming a salesman. I worked for Brown Holder Biscuits, Kraft Foods and Campbell's Soup. After retirement, I worked part-time with T.W. Curry Funeral Home for 12 years, joined our church choir, served as Eucharistic Minister, Lector and for a period of time on the Parish Council. I joined other choirs, Knights of Columbus Men's Choir, a Gospel Contemporary Choir, "One in Spirit" and sang with funeral choirs. I wasn't much of a singer, I use to "Lip Sync" quite a bit, as Helen would say. I was also a member of the Knights of Columbus travelling some with the priests to visit the sick, say mass and distribute communion. I'm proud to say I had a strong Faith!! I also had the pleasure of being a member of the Monday Night Prayer Group with a wonderful group of friends!
I love sports!! Really enjoyed bowling in the men's league for many years and was an avid Montreal Canadiens fan, along with the Blue Jays, the Screaming Eagles and the Sydney Sooners Men's Baseball.
I was very blessed to Live, Love and Laugh throughout a wonderful life.
